Heather holds a bachelor's degree in English from Arizona State University where she refined her natural skill for writing. While balancing the demands of school and full-time employment, Heather contributed to College Times, penned a self-published work of poetry, and successfully launched a weekly spoken word event for the local poetry community.
Following her undergraduate studies, Heather began a career within the corporate world. Although her job duties primary entailed member service, she voluntarily wrote an educational presentation for the organization in 2012 to prevent service interruption between its various geographical campus locations. This tutorial was so well received within the local region, it was later enhanced for distribution to the entire workforce of 25,000 employees.
In 2014, Heather retired from the financial services industry to pursue entrepreneurship and freelance writing and editing as the latter is where her true passion lies.
